Happy Purim! The Chabad of Toms River juts had the best Purim party ever yesterday. I was there to rock the party to a fantastic crowd! Rabbi Gourarie and the Chabad really know how to celebrate and make all feel welcome. Thank you Rabbi Gourarie! What nobody in the party realized was they were the first people to publicly hear most of the tracks from "Live from the Tanakh". If you were at the party you can say you heard it first!

New music is already in the works. A true musician never rests on his or her laurels!

Wow! The show at Congregation B'Nai Israel in Rumson was GREAT! A super audience of kids and adults with a fantasic Hanukkah party. It looks like I've got a number of dancers for my next show and a bunch of new groupies. :) Chris, even got down and played piano for Cantor Marla for a crowd assisted "I am a Little Latke". For just 1 brief rehersal it was a fantastic addition to the show. Major thanks to Rhea Goldsmith, who organized the show
at B'Nai Israel. Another thank you goes to Ilene Gore for making sure we had everything we needed to make the show go smoothly.

After almost a year with no updates, we're back! 2005 proved to be a year with quite a few personal challenges, but there is new Kid Kosher music on the way. Look for a new release in early 2006 called "Live from the Tanakh" featuring anthems for Shabbat (Shabbat Shalom) and Passover (Please Pass Over).

"8 Nights of Hanukkah" is now available both online at www.cdbaby.com and at the Princeton, NJ Barnes & Noble.

The first holiday show for the 2005 season is scheduled for Sunday December 4 at Congregation B'Nai Israel in Rumson, NJ.

Saturday November 12, 2005 we're having a studio session to work on some new material. We might work on some new Hanukkah material that's been written already.

All the new tracks have been arranged and recorded. We need to tweak some sound levels a bit, but we are expecting to start recording vocals at our next studio session, probably after Yom Kippur.

August 26, 2004

Another studio session is scheduled for tonight. With 1 song left to fully arrange and 1 to finish the arrangement on, 8 Nights of Hanukkah is almost done.

A tentative appearance on the Carton and Rossi Show (The Jersey Guys) on NJ 101.5 is in the works for holiday season 2004. More information to follow.

July 28, 2004

We're reworking the track to one of the new songs and are tweaking another 4. A marathon studio session is scheduled for tonight to tie up some ideas in a few songs. The fall release is still looking good.

The first show/appearance for the 2004 holiday season has been scheduled. Check the "Shows/Appearances" page for details.

Another successful studio session. Yet another new track has been arranged and plans for a July 1st session is scheduled. At the present time it looks as though the new album will be completed by summer's end for a fall release.

The fall marketing push will feature CDs to several major radio stations in the tri-state area, Kid Kosher apparell from the e-store (link is on on the home page), and holiday shows at local venues. Here's hoping the second coming of Kid Kosher blows up bigger than the first!

March 10, 2004

Back in the studio. Another new song has been arranged. Only 3 more tunes to go before the new CD is ready for recording.

Additionally, "Light the Menorah" has been entered in the USA Songwriting Competition in the Novelty Category. First prize among radio play and consideration from record labels, wins $50,000 worth of cash, merchandise, and services.

February 9, 2004

Kid Kosher and Chris Colaneri returned to the studio this past Saturday, February 7, 2004 to begin work on the next collection of songs. After 3 hours of work a new song is almost finished being arranged. The new song will be featured on the new Hanukkah album for Holiday Season 2004. The working album title is "8 Nights". The new album is expected to have 8 tracks and will take the Hip Hop Hanukkah sound to the next level. Keep checking back for updates.
